well that did not go as planned, about 20miles from the start we had Nick Jones and co pilot behind us flashing (cheers Nick) and smoke pouring from the off side front wheel. as we did not want to remove the whole disc caliper ect we just checked the outer bearing all seemed fine so tightened all up and left it at that, after the problem was still evident we checked the inner bearing. Yes this is the same bearing only replaced 30ish miles earlier(remade Chinese crap). thats right as you can see from the photos the inner part of the cage has welded to the stub axle the out part is in bits and needles are everywhere except where they should have been, this meant despite having a spare bearing we could not fit it as now the hub was so badly worn the new one would serve no purpose. we got recovered at half 1 after calling the RAC around 9 its now 8:30am and i have just got in. not the 10HCR that we had planned sorry for not being able to share the HCR with you all.
